INTERNATIONAL?

International was established in 1990. Liberty founder Mario Enzesberger,
was quick to note the emerging opportunity arising from the opening of
the borders in Eastern Europe.
The
Austrian born entrepreneur, who gained extensive experience in the industry,
called upon local and western-trained colleagues to establish a series
of "Destination Management Companies" in Central Europe - which later
expanded to Western Europe, Africa and the Middle-East. Its network recently
included offices in the countries of Latin America.
Liberty International
A.G., the holding company, is a major shareholder in all the offices around
the world. The managing director of each of these offices is the shareholder/partner
and thus shares in its success and profits. The entire structure is based
on 100% private capital. Due to strict financial control, the Group has
always managed to finance itself and to this day has never required any
sort of cash facility to conduct its normal travel business.
Liberty has always
endeavoured to invest heavily in keeping its computer technology updated
and capable of coping with its growing volume of business.
With a presence in
over 30 countries, we are backed by a strong staff of more than 450 proffessionals

at Liberty is not just a catch-phrase but more an instrument to allow
us to offer an optimum relationship of price and service. We are able
to negotiate very competitive rates with our suppliers through our high
volume of clients from all over the world. Customer satisfaction plays
a key role in the Liberty philosophy. Our suppliers are therefore regularly
reviewed in respect of quality, service and safety.
In 1999, Liberty purchased
its first Hotel in Prague in the Czech republic, and in the year 2000
assumed management of a hotel in Salzburg in Austria. As a result of the
continuos increase in demand for incentives, conferences and congresses
at Liberty destinations, Liberty has established the new Liberty Incentives
& Congresses Company, which has been in operation since January 2000.
The company was previously (for 10 years), the Liberty Incentive Department
within the Liberty Head Office in Prague. More projects are in preparation,
which will lead us into a new sphere.  |
