Self Drive Safaris
Liberty
Africa Safaris, in conjunction with Roving Rovers offers the best priced
self drive cars available in Kenya. The vehicles are owned and maintained
by a specialist Land Rover workshop.
The vehicles are based centrally in Njoro (near Nakuru), where there is also an overland campsite. Safaris can be done to nearby locations such as Lake Nakuru National Park, Masai Mara, Lakes Baringo and Bogoria as well as the Aberdares National Park.
All vehicles are four wheel drive, with either built-in beds or mounted
roof-tents. All cooking equipment, crockery, cooking gas, mattresses and
mosquito nets (no bedding), jerry cans for water and fuel, tow roing cables
and assorted tools are provided, thus making longer safaris to Turkana
for example, also possible.
