The Kenya Association of Tour Operators (KATO) is Kenya’s foremost tourism
trade association, representing the interests of over 250 of the leading and
most experienced professional tour operators in Kenya.
To uphold the good reputation of Kenya as a tourist destination by ensuring
that Kenyan Tour Operators maintain the highest possible standards of
service and value.
Kenya Tourism Federation (KTF) is the pioneer organization mandated to
manage the safety of tourists in our country; the Kenya Tourism Federation
secretariat is the umbrella body for the private sector in tourism, and unites
the 7 key tourism associations in Kenya under one body.
East African Wild Life Society (EAWLS) was founded in 1961 when the Wildlife
Societies of Tanzania and Kenya – both founded in 1956 – joined together with
Uganda wildlife enthusiasts.
To advocate and collaborate on the safeguarding and sustainable management
of East Africa’s natural resources.

illegal activities and greed threaten our wildlife heritage
African Travel & Tourism Association (ATTA) promotes the tourism products of
members with destinations within Africa and the Indian Ocean Islands.
United States Tour Operators Association (USTOA) is a professional, voluntary
trade association created with the primary purpose of promoting integrity within
the tour operator industry. Its members are distinquished tour operators who
conduct tours both within the US and globally.
