The Annual General Meeting (AGM)Â is a cornerstone event for the Liberty International Tourism Group, serving as a nexus for our global work family to come together in unity. It's a platform not only for networking and catching up but also for sharing best practices, engaging clients, and immersing ourselves in the chosen location's culture.
This year, Liberty Africa Safaris took the helm in East Africa, setting the stage for an unforgettable experience in Nairobi, Kenya.
Â
Day 1
Kicking off with flair, this day saw us mingling over cocktails at the picturesque Emara Hotel rooftop, overlooking the wilderness, enjoying sundowners and setting the tone for the days ahead.
Day 2
It brought a whirlwind of activity, starting with a dynamic speed networking session, ensuring lively exchanges among colleagues from around the world. Then, we ventured to the Waterfront Mall for team-building activities, from brain-teasing quizzes to a spirited hunt for Maasai traditional attire components, culminating in a crowning of the fastest assembler.
Â
Following a brief respite back at Emara Hotel, we embarked in style aboard local matatus to Karen Blixen Coffee Garden for an evening of gastronomic delights.
Day 3
The momentum continued into this day with enlightening presentations from Liberty's own Mario Enzesberger and Liberty Africa Safaris' CEO, Annie Corcoran, interspersed with engaging Q&A sessions.
Â
A highlight awaited as we boarded Liberty Africa's fleet of 15 Land Cruisers for a thrilling game drive through Nairobi National Park, encountering wildlife aplenty.
Â
The day crescendoed with a bush dinner, featuring Maasai performances and a poignant conservation discourse by Secluded Africa Lodges, all under the enchanting African sky.
Day 4
Commenced with a stakeholder meeting, honouring outstanding partners across six offices, including Liberty Greece, Liberty Austria, Liberty Germany, Liberty Italy, Liberty France, and the gracious hosts, Liberty Africa Safaris.
Â
Next, we delved into the richness of local culture and craftsmanship, visiting Ocean Sole for recycled flip-flop art, Kobe Tough for ceramic bead crafting, and the Giraffe Centre for an up-close encounter with these majestic creatures.
Â
To cap off our commitment to conservation, guests were whisked away in electric buses to Muthaiga Golf Club for a final soirée, complete with live music and dancing under the stars
